Abstract: Though"Huangdi Neijing"is a traditional Chinese medical work,the description of the medical theory and techniques shows a vivid picture and is easy to understand for readers.By exploring the excellent language expressions,we can see,because of the antithetical rhetoric used the sentences in the book are not only paralleled but also changeable,which strengthens the language charm.Also the parallelism makes the language fluent and tasteful.Antithesis and parallelism form a kind of beauty of sentence patterns.Whereas the personification employed in the book creates a beauty of the paper images.Thus these result in a kind of formal beauty of Huangdi Neijing.And the coherence and logicality show its beauty in level.
