Admission conditions
1.
A 1-page written essay of their interest research plan in any topic of relevant geophysics fields.
2.
A certificate of English language proficiency test taken within the last 2 years from any English test institutes such as CMU-eTEGS, IELTS, TOEIC, etc., except for applicants who are from the native English-speaking countries listed at https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/international/english-speaking-countries.
3.
Two recommendation letters from the current or latest academic advisor of the applicant, past or current supervisor or employer, or those who are familiar with the applicant?s scholarly work.
Applicant Qualifications
1.
Applicants must have earned B.S.?s or B.Eng.?s degree in Geology, Geophysics, Physics, Geosciences, Earth Sciences, Geotechnology, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Mathematics or other relevant fields.
